We are located in Turieno, inside the national park, 2 km from Potes and close to the monastery of Saint Toribio de Liebana.

The Posada is a typical example of a Cantabrian country house constructed of stone, wooden beams and traditional balcony. In the large garden you can enjoy spectacular scenery all year around.

Driving directions to Posada Laura

Driving from Santander, the Basque Country or Asturias, on the A8, take the exit at Unquera and follow directions to Potes. The road follows the gorge of La Hermida, a spectacular road that skirts the river Deva. Your journey from Unquera to Turieno will take approximately 40 minutes.

From Palencia to the south, take the mountain pass of Piedras Luengas and from León use the mountain pass of San Glorio, All these roads end in Potes which lies at the centre of the valley.
